Following a rebranding, Trident Ireland is now trading under a new name ProNutri which provides a range of ingredients to the feed industry in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. We specialise in the sales and marketing of feed materials to feed manufacturers only.

The business is based on understanding our customers’ needs and supplying only the best quality branded ingredients. We have access to world class technical, nutrition, manufacturing and logistical expertise in order to efficiently deliver high quality feed material to the agricultural industry.

Core products within the business come from the 6 million tonnes of sugar beet grown in the UK processed by British Sugar. Over 1 million tonnes of sugar products are produced and 0.5 million tonnes of animal feed products, in the form of Sugar Beet Feed. We are also the leading partner in Ireland of the British drinks industry and supply the Irish market with dried, pelleted wheat and barley distillers’ grains. With the development of the biofuels industry in the UK and Europe, ProNutri has been sourcing and marketing a range of dried distillers’ grains.

ProNutri is a strategic collaboration between the Arvum Group and AB Agri who are the Agricultural business of Associated British foods Plc. Based in the Arvum Group offices at Ballymountain, on the outskirts of Waterford city, the business is managed by Nigel Whyte and supported by a team of Nutritionists, Helen Leyland, Logistics Co-Ordinator and Emma Froggatt, Accountant.

Maxibeet Unmolassed Beet Pulp

A high digestible fibre energy and palatable 6 mm unmolassed pelleted feed, designed to be used in a range of mechanical handling and feed systems. Maxibeet is a co-product from sugar production. Once the sugar has been diffused out from the beet, the fibrous residues are dried and then pelleted to produce the final product.

Vivergo Wheat Distillers

A very palatable, high energy and protein feed, rich in digestible fibre, low in starch and providing a good source of bypass protein. Sourced from the Vivergo biorefinery in Yorkshire it provides a sustainable alternative to soya.

Supaflow Molassed Beet Pulp

A high digestible fibre energy and palatable 6 mm pelleted feed, designed to be used in a range of mechanical handling and feed systems. Supaflow is a co-product from sugar production. Once the sugar has been diffused out from the beet, the fibrous residues are dried and combined with molasses. They are then pelleted and then finely coated with palm oil to produce the final product.

Bettaflow Semi-Molassed Beet Pulp

A high digestible fibre energy and palatable 6mm pelleted feed, designed to be used in a range of mechanical handling and feed systems. Bettaflow is a co-product from sugar production. Once the sugar has been diffused out from the beet, the fibrous residues are dried and combined with molasses. They are then pelleted and then finely coated with palm oil to produce the final product.

Molassed Sugar Beet Shreds

A high digestible fibre and sugar energy, palatable feed supplied as shreds that afford physical structure to a ration. Molassed Sugar Beet Shreds are a co-product from sugar production. Once the sugar has been diffused out from the beet, the fibrous residues are combined with molasses and dried as shreds.

Scottish Barley Distillers Pellets

Scottish Distillers Barley is a very palatable energy and protein feed. Available in 6mm pellets, it provides a source of digestible fibre and bypass protein and is suitable for feeding to dairy and beef cattle, both as a straight and as part of a blend.
